Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education Conducts 'Handwritten Letter Writing' for Respect and Gratitude
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 30th that it will conduct a "Writing Letters of Respect and Gratitude" campaign for students in the province in celebration of Family Month in May.
This event is being held to promote character education through "writing letters" throughout May, as online classes and non-face-to-face activities have increased due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
The Office of Education has guided frontline schools to conduct activities such as ▲writing thank-you letters ▲writing letters for grandparents' and parents' birthdays during class and creative experiential activities, aiming to spread an atmosphere of mutual respect and gratitude.
So far, the Office of Education has consistently carried out letter-writing campaigns during Family Month and holidays, encouraging students to express their gratitude to parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends through letters or postcards.
