View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Han Jinju] On Friday the 30th, rain mixed with yellow dust will fall in the metropolitan area until noon. Starting from the night in the southern regions, rain is expected again in the metropolitan area on Saturday morning.
On the 30th, the Korea Meteorological Administration forecasted that the whole country will be mostly cloudy with rain in the metropolitan area, Gangwon Province, Chungbuk, eastern Jeonbuk, and the Gyeongbuk region. In Gangwon Province, there will be occasional rain until evening, and raindrops will fall in the metropolitan area and Chungbuk region until noon. The highest daytime temperature will be between 14 and 22 degrees Celsius.
Since rain mixed with yellow dust is falling in some areas, attention should be paid to health management and traffic safety. The expected precipitation is up to 30mm in Gangwon Province. Eastern Gyeonggi and northern Gyeongbuk will have less than 5mm, and western metropolitan area, northern Chungbuk, and southeastern Gyeongbuk will have less than 1mm.
From the night of the 30th, starting with the Jeolla region, Gyeongnam region, and Jeju Island, rain will fall in the early morning of Saturday the 1st in the Chungcheong region and Gyeongbuk region, and in the morning in the metropolitan area. Most of the rain will stop in Chungnam, Jeolla, Gyeongnam, and Jeju, but some places will have light rain continuing until noon. Rain will continue in the metropolitan area, Gangwon, Chungbuk, and Gyeongbuk until noon on the 2nd.
The expected precipitation amounts are ▲Gangwon Yeongdong 20~60mm ▲Gangwon Yeongseo, Gyeongbuk region, Jeju Island, Ulleungdo and Dokdo 10~40mm ▲Metropolitan area, Chungbuk, eastern Jeonbuk, Jeonnam region, Gyeongnam region 5~20mm ▲Chungnam region, western Jeonbuk around 5mm.

Most of the country will have morning temperatures around 10 degrees Celsius, with inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk around 5 degrees Celsius, making it somewhat chilly. Daytime temperatures will range from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius, around 10 degrees in Gangwon mountainous areas, and around 20 degrees in the Gyeongsang region, showing significant regional differences. Sunday the 2nd will be cloudy but gradually clear up from noon. The lowest morning temperatures will be 6 to 11 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperatures 16 to 20 degrees Celsius.
Until noon today, strong winds of 8 to 13 m/s will blow in the Chungcheong region, southern regions, and Jeju Island, so caution is needed for facility management. On Saturday afternoon, maximum instantaneous wind speeds exceeding 15 m/s are expected mainly in Chungnam, Jeolla region, and Jeju Island.
