The ‘Social Welfare Planning Project Proposal Contest’ is a fund allocation project by the Community Chest of Korea that solicits innovative and efficient excellent welfare programs from institutions and organizations active in the social welfare field, supports a certain budget necessary for project operation, and aims to solve community problems and enhance welfare services through public-private cooperation.
The contest fields are divided into ▲non-face-to-face social welfare projects to overcome COVID-19 ▲support for safe living of vulnerable groups such as children, disabled persons, elderly living alone, and middle-aged single-person households ▲support for learning and cultural leisure activities for learning-vulnerable groups such as the elderly and disabled ▲support for healthy living such as resolving food shortages and mental health management for care-vulnerable groups ▲support projects for vulnerable groups against heat waves, and other fields. However, one-time projects solely for purchasing or distributing goods are excluded.
The funds are provided from the 2021 Hope Ondol Warm Winter Fund, with up to 10 million KRW supported per institution.
