Gyeongnam Province Conducts Sample Inspections in First Half to Reconfirm Accuracy of Cadastral Surveying
From May to the end of June, targeting 11 districts including Uichang-gu, Changwon-si
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Saeyan] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 29th that it will conduct the 2021 first half cadastral survey sample inspection from May to the end of June.
The cadastral survey sample inspection is a procedure in which the province re-verifies the accuracy of the survey results for cadastral surveys inspected by city, county, and district offices.
The first half sample inspection targets are 11 cities, counties, and districts: Uichang-gu, Changwon-si; Seongsan-gu, Changwon-si; Jinhae-gu, Changwon-si; Jinju-si; Sacheon-si; Yangsan-si; Uiryeong-gun; Changnyeong-gun; Goseong-gun; Sancheong-gun; and Hapcheon-gun.
For the sample inspection, the province forms and operates a joint inspection team consisting of 16 survey inspection officers.
The joint inspection team checks the appropriateness of on-site survey methods, the determination of cadastral survey results, and the proper application of related laws and regulations.

Meanwhile, last year's sample inspection found a total of 48 error cases, including insufficient preparation of cadastral survey results, inappropriate use of existing survey files, and insufficient investigation of existing data, which were corrected.
