[Concall] Samsung Electro-Mechanics "Semiconductor Supply Gradually Stabilizing... Limited Impact on MLCC Demand"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] On the 28th, Samsung Electro-Mechanics stated in its Q1 earnings conference call that "there is a possibility of decreased demand for MLCCs (Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors) due to production disruptions of sets (finished products) caused by semiconductor supply shortages," but also noted that "the need to secure inventory of all components is increasing, and as the semiconductor supply situation is expected to gradually stabilize in the second half of the year, the impact on the annual demand for MLCCs will be limited."
