Songpa Police Station and Songpa Nonghyup Sign Agreement to Eradicate Voice Phishing
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The Songpa Police Station in Seoul announced on the 28th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Songpa Nonghyup to eradicate voice phishing.
Through this MOU, the two organizations will establish a cooperative system for preventing telephone financial fraud crimes and apprehending criminals, and jointly promote publicity and campaign activities. Additionally, when unusual activities such as large withdrawals or suspicious transactions are detected during bank counter operations, they will collaborate by promptly reporting to 112 and maintaining a rapid response posture at the local police precinct. Furthermore, they agreed to actively seek other areas for mutual exchange and cooperation.
