Haenam-gun Listens to Residents' Opinions on Creating a Happy Space for Citizens
Haenam Gunmin Plaza Development, Basic Design Public Opinion Collection Conducted
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hyun] Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 28th that it will collect residents' opinions on the creation of Haenam-gun Citizen Plaza, which is scheduled to be actively promoted after relocating to the new government office building in September.
Last year, under the theme of "Creating a Happy Space for Residents," the county finalized the basic plan through an idea contest for the citizen plaza, resident surveys, and the government office construction promotion committee, and has been conducting basic and detailed designs since February.
Opinion collection on the basic design (draft) will be conducted via a mobile survey from the 28th until the 12th of next month, and anyone interested in the creation of Haenam-gun Citizen Plaza can participate.
The mobile survey can be easily accessed by scanning the QR code on the county website or the notice boards in the towns and townships.
The Haenam Citizen Plaza will be created as a historical, cultural experience, and communication plaza centered around the Susung Pine after demolishing the three old government office buildings. By the first half of 2022, outdoor restrooms, ground fountains, nightscape lighting, children's playgrounds, and resting shelters usable by people of all ages will be established within the existing citizen plaza.
