Tmon Hosts 'Social Donation' Live Broadcast with Yuntaek for Family Month
Donations Starting from 1,000 Won... Support for Children in Care Facilities
Collected Funds Delivered to Giving Plus... 200 Sets of Daily Necessities Provided
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] TMON announced on the 28th that it will launch a special social donation campaign ahead of Family Month in May to support children in care facilities. A special broadcast will be scheduled on the live commerce platform TVON, and donation activities will be promoted together with Yoon Taek, ambassador of the Milal Welfare Foundation's Giving Plus.
The special social donation for Family Month will run until the 7th of next month. Donations can be freely made starting from 1,000 KRW, and the collected funds will be used to support children in care facilities and low-income families in the Seoul and Gyeonggi areas. The social donation program is a customer participation social contribution initiative by TMON that delivers 100% of the collected amount to the donation recipients without deducting fees or operating costs.
TMON plans to transfer the entire collected amount to Giving Plus to assemble and provide more than 200 'Caring Gift Sets' containing about 20 essential items such as masks, notebooks, and clothing.
On the 3rd of next month at 10 a.m., broadcaster Yoon Taek will appear on TVON to communicate in real-time with viewers on topics such as family and happiness, explaining the necessity of donations. Yoon Taek serves as an ambassador for the Milal Welfare Foundation's Giving Plus.
Along with this special social donation campaign, TMON will also donate goods worth approximately 10 million KRW, including hygiene products, to Giving Plus. Since 2010, TMON has been running the social donation program, a customer participation social contribution activity. In cooperation with nonprofit organizations, it gathers the hearts of sponsors to support neighbors in need, such as families of children with illnesses from socially marginalized groups, low-income children, and emergency disaster response.
