Voices shouting "Stop," "Hey, please stop," "You'll kill someone," and "Security!" can be heard trying to break up the fight, but the groups ignored them. They even trampled on opponents who had fallen during the assault.
They continued to hit each other violently until security personnel arrived and intervened.
The police arrived and arrested Jameel Tremain Decquir (20), while pursuing three others who fled.
It was reported that three victims sustained minor injuries from the incident.
The intense brawl at the airport began as a dispute over seats.
A witness told the police, "An American Airlines counter agent told Decquir and three other men waiting for the flight that there were only three standby seats available for the Chicago-bound flight, and that one person had to be left out or wait for another flight."
When the American Airlines counter agent explained the shortage of seats and asked passengers to yield, Jameel and three others insisted on taking the seats for themselves, which escalated into a physical fight.
Meanwhile, famous stars such as Jenny Johnson reacted to Corben’s video with comments like "The problem is always on the way home" and "This isn’t a fight, it’s just stomping around."
