Jeonnam Province Conducts 'Internal Integrity Assessment' for High-Ranking Officials' Integrity Diagnosis
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Jeonnam Province announced that from the 27th, it will conduct the '2021 Internal Integrity Evaluation' for 10 days to assess the integrity levels of high-ranking public officials and departments/organizations.
The internal integrity evaluation is conducted using a model provided by the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission.
This initiative was promoted not only to evaluate the behavior of high-ranking public officials regarding fair job performance, sound public service culture, and organizational culture, but also to systematically diagnose and analyze the corruption risks related to organizations and tasks.
The evaluation covers individual assessments of 151 high-ranking public officials at levels 2 to 4, as well as the integrity levels of 127 departments headed by level 4 or higher department heads and the Jeonnam Province organization.
The diagnostic survey is conducted anonymously through a professional agency commissioned to ensure confidentiality.
Evaluators selected as the evaluation panel are notified in advance via email and mobile phone (text message), and then access the online survey system to conduct the evaluation.
The evaluation results will be used as data to establish measures to improve organizational integrity. In particular, individual integrity evaluation results will be notified to each evaluated person to encourage self-management and will be referenced for personnel and performance management.
