Gwangju Social Service Institute Signs Business Agreement with Metropolitan and 5 Mental Health Welfare Centers
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Seon-gang] The Gwangju Metropolitan City Social Service Institute (Director Jo Ho-kwon) announced on the 27th that it has signed a business agreement for mutual cooperation with the Gwangju Metropolitan City and 5 autonomous district Mental Health Welfare Centers.
This agreement was prepared to improve the quality of social services by establishing a mental health promotion support system through early intervention and counseling education by linking and referring services and programs suitable for mental health, such as promoting mental health and connecting care services for social service users.
According to the agreement, each institution will work together on ▲support for early detection and prevention of mental health problems for social service users ▲linking and supporting appropriate social services for mental health service users ▲providing education to strengthen the capabilities of social service workers and services to promote mental health ▲and other matters recognized as necessary through consultation between the institutions.
Director Jo Ho-kwon said, “We will do our best to create a happy social service enjoyed by all citizens of Gwangju by improving the quality of social services through mental health promotion in connection with the specialized Gwangju Metropolitan City and 5 autonomous district Mental Health Welfare Centers.”
