[AKYUNG Poll] President Moon's Job Performance Evaluation: 'Positive' 36.7% vs 'Negative' 60.0%
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] It has been revealed that 6 out of 10 citizens view President Moon Jae-in's performance in office negatively.
According to a survey conducted by Asia Economy through Win-Gi Korea Consulting from the 24th to 25th among 1,008 men and women nationwide aged 18 and older, 36.7% of respondents thought President Moon was "doing well" in his administration, while 60.0% viewed it negatively as "not doing well," as of the 27th. The gap is 23.3 percentage points, which is outside the margin of error (±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level).
By age group, only those in their 40s showed a positive evaluation (50.7%) within the margin of error, while all other age groups had negative evaluations exceeding half. Among the 18-29 age group, negative evaluations were 66.7%, followed by those in their 30s (57.0%), 50s (54.4%), 60s (67.0%), and 70 and older (73.1%).
Regionally, only Gwangju and Jeolla (62.2%) showed a majority positive evaluation, while all other regions except Gyeonggi and Incheon (59.7%) had negative evaluations exceeding 60%.

This survey was conducted using a 100% automated response system (ARS) with virtual phone numbers, and weights were applied by gender, age, and region. The response rate was 9.6%, and the sampling error was ±3.1 percentage points at a 95% confidence level.
