Five Related Organizations in Gyeongnam Region Join Hands to Actively Support Innovation Procurement and Public Purchasing Activation
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Chairman Jung Yoon-mo, hereinafter referred to as Kibo) announced on the 27th that it signed a "Business Agreement for the Activation of Innovative Procurement and Public Purchase of Small and Medium Venture Businesses in the Gyeongnam Region" with the Gyeongnam Regional Small and Medium Venture Business Administration, Gyeongnam Regional Public Procurement Service, Korea Federation of SMEs Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, and Gyeongnam Technopark.
This agreement was prepared based on the recognition that there is a need to activate collaboration for innovative procurement and public purchase support for small and medium venture businesses in the Gyeongnam region, following the "Business Agreement for Expanding Public Purchase of Innovative Products by Small and Medium Venture Businesses and Improving the Public Procurement Environment" signed last month between the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Public Procurement Service.
The signatory organizations agreed to closely cooperate on ▲ strengthening support for innovative public procurement of small and medium venture businesses ▲ enhancing cooperation for exception adjustments in direct purchase of construction materials ▲ jointly holding purchasing consultation meetings to expand public purchases ▲ forming and operating a working-level consultative body to spread innovative procurement and public purchase.
Kibo plans to actively support the promotion of product purchases by public institutions for innovative products from small and medium venture businesses with excellent technology and business feasibility by utilizing the "Public Purchase Special Guarantee" system.
