New Chapter in Life! Gwangjin-gu Recruiting Participants for 50+ Internship Program
Recruitment of Residents Aged 50-64 for the '50+ Internship Program' Until May 3... Providing Education and Work Opportunities at Local Companies and Institutions
[Asia Economy Reporter Jong-il Park] Gwangjin-gu (Mayor Kim Seon-gap) is recruiting the 50+ generation to participate in the ‘Gwangjin 50+ Internship Project’ until May 3.
This project supports education and internship work at local companies and institutions so that the 50+ generation with experience and expertise can continue working.
The recruitment target is a total of 27 Gwangjin-gu residents aged 50 to 64, who must be willing to continue working after the internship and be able to attend project-related meetings.
Selected participants will be placed in their desired companies among 12 participating local companies in July, complete work training, and then undergo on-site practice for 3 to 6 months.
Working conditions allow up to 57 hours per month (14 hours per week) from July to December for 6 months, with wages based on the 2021 Gwangjin-gu living wage of 10,702 KRW per hour and coverage under accident insurance.
Residents wishing to participate can submit application documents by May 3 by visiting the Senior Welfare Division of Gwangjin-gu Office or via email.
