Collecting and Sharing Citizen Opinions... Promoting Policy as a Project Empowering Citizens
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Busan City is holding a unique event to hear citizens' opinions through comment messages.
The citizen discussion, prepared to spread messages of hope and gather public opinion in celebration of Mayor Park Hyung-jun's administrative launch, will be held on the Busan City website for 20 days from April 26 to May 15.
Busan City announced that this citizen discussion will be conducted under the theme "Messages of Hope from Citizens and New Administration." It plans to encourage citizens who have struggled due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic and share various opinions from citizens who have expectations for the newly launched administration. Positive and hopeful messages for the future of Busan will also be shared.
Any Busan citizen can participate in the citizen discussion. Opinions can be submitted as comments in the "Citizen Discussion ON AIR" section on the Busan City website.
To encourage wide participation, Busan City has created and introduced card news that clearly explains the operational direction of the new administration, and participants in the discussion will be given souvenirs through a lottery.
Various opinions from the discussion will be published on the city website by topic and actively reflected in city administration.
