On the 24th, at Gaya Golf Club in Gimhae, Gyeongnam (par 72, 6813 yards), during the third day of the 2021 KLPGA Tour 2nd event, Nexen Saint Nine Masters (total prize money 800 million KRW), Lee Da-yeon posted a daily best of 5-under par to rise to a tie for first place (10-under par 206) alongside Jang Ha-na (29, BC Card). Park Min-ji (23, NH Investment & Securities) and Jang Soo-yeon (25, Dongbu Construction) are fiercely chasing in a tie for third place, just one stroke behind (9-under par 207).
Lee Da-yeon recorded six birdies and one bogey. She started strong with consecutive birdies on holes 4 and 5, had her only bogey on the 10th hole (par 4) after missing the green, but bounced back with two pairs of birdies on holes 11-12 and 15-16. She is a player with five career wins, including the Phantom Classic in October 2017. She also swept a major title by winning the Korean Women's Open, the national title, in June 2019. After the Hyosung Championship in December, which was included in the 2020 season, she has now secured a chance to win again after one year and four months.

She added two birdies and one bogey. Park Hyun-kyung (20, Korea Land Trust) is tied for 6th place (6-under par 210), and last year's Player of the Year Choi Hye-jin (22, Lotte) is tied for 12th place (4-under par 212). ‘Lotte Rent-a-Car Women’s Open champion’ Lee So-mi (22, SBI Savings Bank) also remains tied for 12th place.
