'Batman·Superman' Comes to Kakao Webtoon "World's First"
[Asia Economy Reporter Bu Aeri] DC Comics' hero series such as 'Batman', 'Justice League', 'Wonder Woman', and 'Superman' will be released as webtoons on KakaoPage.
Kakao Entertainment announced on the 23rd, "Four works from DC Comics, considered a major rival to Marvel Comics, will be released as Korean-style color webtoons on KakaoPage for the first time worldwide."
This collaboration was realized after DC Comics, interested in webtoons, visited Korea in 2019 and sent a love call to KakaoPage.
KakaoPage plans to sequentially release 'Batman', 'Justice League', 'Wonder Woman', and 'Superman' in webtoon scroll format.
First, 'Batman' will have its prologue and episodes 1 to 14 released all at once on the 24th.
Following 'Batman', 'Justice League', featuring representative heroes of the DC Universe gathered in one place, will be released on the 27th.
On May 4th, the story of 'Wonder Woman', who confronts the villain Cheetah, will be released, and on the 9th, the story of 'Superman', the survivor of the planet Krypton, will be uploaded.
