[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Cho Sung-guk, CEO of Noroo Paint, participated in the 'Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge' to raise awareness of children's traffic safety and establish a culture of safety.
The Children's Traffic Safety Relay Challenge is a campaign planned by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety and the Ministry of Education in December last year, aimed at forming a national consensus on preventing traffic accidents in school zones. It is conducted in a relay format where participants share photos holding the selected children's traffic safety slogan, chosen through a nationwide idea contest, on social media and nominate the next participant.
CEO Cho joined the campaign upon the nomination of Lee Hak-yeon, CEO of Ajou Steel Co., Ltd. He took a photo holding the children's traffic safety slogan, "Stop at 1! Look both ways at 2! Wait for 3 seconds! Prevent with 4 high alerts!" and posted it on Noroo Paint's official SNS to encourage the establishment of a safe traffic culture. He nominated Park Bong-jun, CEO of Daeryuk Pipe, and Pyo Kyung-won, CEO of Aekyung Chemical, as the next participants.
CEO Cho stated, "I hope a mature traffic culture that prioritizes safety will be established so that our children can grow up brighter in a safe living environment," and added, "I will share the meaning of this campaign with our employees and continue to support activities that practically help children's traffic safety."
