Lifeplus Exercise Health Insurance
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Hyung-gil] Hanwha Life announced on the 22nd that the "Integrated Measurement Index for Activity Levels by Health Activity Type" applied to the second-generation health promotion product "Life Plus Exercising Health Insurance" has obtained a 6-month exclusive usage right.
Following the first-generation product limited to walking, it is evaluated that the scope of health management activities measurable and manageable through wearable sensor technology verification has been expanded to reflect the needs of various health activities.
The Life Plus Exercising Health Insurance measures a total of five activities?walking, running, swimming, hiking, and cycling?using a smartwatch, and if the daily average step count reaches 7,500 steps, the insurance premium for the following month is discounted by up to 25% for a maximum of 60 times. It is available for subscription from ages 15 to 70.
Hanwha Life is accelerating the launch of innovative products, including last year’s industry-first release of the "We Will Protect You Peace of Mind Insurance," which incorporates a risk rate for Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), commonly known as "military disease."
