Hangover Remedy 'Condition', Celebrates 30th Anniversary Since Launch
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] Inno.N's 'Condition,' one of the leading hangover remedies in Korea, has celebrated its 30th anniversary since its launch.
First introduced in 1992 targeting office workers in their 30s and 40s, Condition has since pioneered the hangover remedy market. Through six material renewals, including 'mibae-a fermentation extract' and 'Hovenia dulcis,' Condition has continuously offered products that align with current trends. The product lineup, initially limited to beverages, has expanded to various forms such as pills and jelly. As of 2019, the domestic hangover remedy market is estimated to be worth around 250 billion KRW.
This year, Condition set a marketing goal to transform into a brand familiar to the MZ generation to secure a new customer base. While strengthening its unique brand assets that have led the hangover remedy market for 30 years, the advertising models, concepts, and product designs were tailored to the tastes of the MZ generation.
The front of the product label features the slogan "30 years of waking up Korea," emphasizing its role as a pioneer in the domestic hangover remedy market. Additionally, the label uses a brighter background than previous versions and includes a photo of advertising model Park Seo-joon to increase attention.
The advertisement features Park Seo-joon, familiar to all ages, and rapper Mushvenom, the runner-up of 'Show Me The Money 9,' popular among the MZ generation. Park Seo-joon introduces Condition, which has led the market for 30 years, while Mushvenom introduces Condition pills, favored by the MZ generation.
