This business agreement aims to spread carbon neutrality and energy self-sufficiency through win-win cooperation to achieve RE100 (a campaign where companies commit to sourcing 100% of their electricity from renewable energy) among companies located in the Banwol·Sihwa Industrial Complex.
Recently, interest in RE100 has been rising mainly among large corporations, which is also affecting medium-sized and small enterprises that supply to these large companies. The Banwol·Sihwa National Industrial Complex (Smart Hub), where many large corporation partners and export companies are concentrated, is in a situation where the introduction of low-carbon and eco-friendly management is essential to strengthen export competitiveness, and this agreement was made to proactively respond at the industrial complex level.
In this agreement, demand companies representing various industries participated to express their commitment: TL Bi (CEO Baek Seong-hyun) representing the electrical and electronics industry, Daewoo Electronic Materials (CEO Lim Il-ji) representing the materials industry, Youngwan (CEO Go Byeong-wan) representing the automotive parts industry, and Geonwoo Precision (CEO Park Yong-jun) representing the root industry.
