[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Noh Hyun-song, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, Seoul, participated in the "National 4-Point Inclusion Relay Challenge to Overcome Low Birthrate" on the 21st.
On the morning of the same day, Mayor Noh held up a hand sign with four action phrases to overcome low birthrate in his office, urging active participation from the residents in the campaign to overcome low birthrate.
Started in Chungcheongnam-do, this challenge is a nationwide participatory campaign aimed at overcoming the national crisis caused by low birthrate through solidarity and cooperation of all citizens.
Mayor Noh Hyun-song said, "I hope this campaign will be an opportunity to create a society where childbirth is a true blessing for everyone and where people do not have to choose between work and parenting," adding, "The district will do its best to create an environment favorable for having and raising children through various policies."
