Jo Kyung-tae: "Kim Jong-in's 'Conspiracy' Remark? It Must Be a Loving Advice"
[Asia Economy Reporter Geum Bo-ryeong] Jo Kyung-tae, a member of the People Power Party, expressed disbelief and said that if former Emergency Committee Chairman Kim Jong-in's remark about 'collusion' is true, it would be a loving piece of advice.
On the 21st, during YTN Radio's "Hwang Bo-seon's Start of a New Morning," when asked about Kim's remark, Jo responded, "I can't believe he would say such a thing," adding, "I find it hard to believe." Kim had previously told Kyunghyang Newspaper that Joo Ho-young, acting leader of the People Power Party, was "the person who tried to make Ahn Cheol-soo, leader of the People Party, the Seoul mayoral candidate," and said, "He colluded with Ahn behind the scenes."
Amid the controversy over Kim's various remarks, including about 'distracting behavior,' Jo said, "Since Kim played his role in his own way and left, I view each comment in the media with skepticism, thinking 'Surely he wouldn't have done that.'" He added, "I believe a respectable and dignified person like him wouldn't say such things. Even if he did, I think it would be a loving piece of advice for our party to do better."
Regarding Kim's advice to Yoon Seok-youl, the former Prosecutor General and the leading presidential candidate, not to join the People Power Party, Jo said, "Paradoxically, it might mean the opposite, that he should join." He emphasized, "If the opposition is divided, it benefits no one, so the opposition should humbly unite and move forward together."
