[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seung-jin] Genesis BBQ, in celebration of Disability Day, delivered 100 servings of chicken sets and masks to welfare facilities for the disabled in the Incheon area, together with its family (franchise stores).
On the 20th, in observance of Disability Day, BBQ held a donation ceremony at the BBQ Incheon Square Garden branch, donating 100 servings of chicken sets and KF94 masks to welfare facilities for the disabled in the Incheon area. This event is part of the 'Chicken Relay' volunteer activity that Genesis BBQ headquarters and its family have been conducting together since 2017, with participation from four family stores in Seoul and Incheon.
Due to the impact of COVID-19, activities have become more difficult for people with disabilities, so the headquarters and family stores united their efforts for this event, which was also joined by the Customized Welfare Team of Yeonsu-gu, Incheon. The chicken and masks were delivered to 'Dongsimwon' in Dongchun-dong, where severely disabled individuals under 18 live, as well as to five communal living facilities for the disabled in Cheonghak-dong.
