The Korea Representative Brand Awards have been held since 2006 to select brands that represent Korea, aiming to discover differentiated market competitiveness and establish a strong brand foundation. This award is organized by the Korea Representative Brand Awards Selection Committee and co-hosted by DongA.com, iMBC, and Hankyung.com, with sponsorship from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Dong-A Ilbo, and Korea Economic Daily, making it the most prestigious brand award.
This survey was conducted based on questionnaires covering a total of 450 categories and 2,894 brands targeting domestic and international consumers. The competitiveness of the brands was comprehensively evaluated across seven assessment criteria determined by 27 brand experts and practitioners.
K Shopping has firmly maintained first place in the T-commerce category for six consecutive years since 2016. It ranked first in most evaluation categories, including brand awareness, brand differentiation, brand reliability, brand quality, and brand loyalty, recognizing its value as a customer-centric brand and selecting it as the representative brand of T-commerce.
