Statistics Korea Conducts Regional Employment Survey for First Half of the Year Until May 4
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Statistics Korea announced on the 19th that it will conduct the '2021 First Half Regional Employment Survey' targeting 230,000 households nationwide with members aged 15 and older until the 4th of next month.
During the survey period, investigators will visit households, and their identity can be verified through their ID cards or via the local statistics office or call center.
Responding households can participate in the online survey using the participation number provided in the internet participation guide sent by mail.
Key employment indicators by city and county will be announced in August, and detailed indicators such as the characteristics of employed persons by industry and occupation will be published in October, November, and December respectively.

Ryu Geungwan, Commissioner of Statistics Korea, stated, "All surveyed information will be used solely for statistical compilation purposes under the Statistics Act, and confidentiality will be strictly protected," adding, "We ask for the active participation and accurate responses of the households selected as samples."
