"From Inquiry to Payment in One Go"... Highway Unpaid Fees Resolved with 'Tmap' Alone
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Cho] From now on, it will be possible to check and pay unpaid highway tolls through the navigation app T map.
T map Mobility announced on the 19th that it will start a service for paying unpaid highway tolls in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and Korea Expressway Corporation.
Accordingly, if users register their vehicles in the 'My Car Management' menu within the T map application 'Car Life,' they can immediately check whether there are any unpaid highway tolls. On the unpaid toll inquiry and payment page, users can see the region and date where the unpaid toll occurred, as well as the unpaid amount. Users can pay all unpaid tolls at once or select only some items to pay according to their convenience.
T map will also hold a one-month service launch event. By clicking agree on the promotion page and simply checking their unpaid tolls, users can participate. Through a drawing, 100 Hi-Pass devices and 300 SK fuel vouchers worth 30,000 KRW each will be given as prizes.
Users who have registered their vehicles in the T map Car Life service can use services such as insurance subscription, on-site car wash, on-site engine oil replacement, and checking their car’s market price, in addition to paying unpaid highway tolls. Additional services for vehicle management will be gradually added in the future.
