‘Bapsim Class,’ a humanities-based food therapy class for elementary school students, and ‘Korean Medicine Beauty Club,’ a career experience program in the Korean medicine beauty industry for middle and high school students, are recruiting participants.
‘Bapsim Class’ and ‘Korean Medicine Beauty Club’ will be operated as non-face-to-face education through YouTube.
In addition, the Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center announced that face-to-face programs will be conducted once the COVID-19 situation eases. A children’s five-senses herbal education program ‘My Friend Herb’ for kindergarteners is planned, and a special career experience program for children with disabilities called ‘Herb Mate’ will be newly established, attracting attention.
‘Herb Mate’ is designed to explore careers in the field of Korean medicine and to support the social and emotional growth of children with disabilities.
The program includes storytelling-based experiences such as ‘Growing Companion Herbal Plants’ and learning about related occupations such as herbal medicine managers and plant psychology counselors.

The Seoul Korean Medicine Promotion Center (Seoul Yakryeongsi Korean Medicine Museum) partially reopened on January 21 and currently allows museum visits with limited numbers of visitors per time slot according to quarantine guidelines.
