View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseonghun) will publicly recruit 19 new members for the "3rd Geumcheon-gu Cooperation Council" from April 19 to April 30 to establish and revitalize the public-private cooperation system.
The "Geumcheon-gu Cooperation Council" is an organization responsible for consulting, coordinating, and advising on matters related to the establishment and activation of the public-private cooperation system according to the "Basic Ordinance for the Activation of Public-Private Cooperation in Geumcheon-gu."
Selected cooperation council members will carry out public-private cooperation activities aimed at solving local community issues together, such as "discovering and implementing community innovation plan projects" and "participating in various public forums."
The term of office is two years, with one possible reappointment.
Any Geumcheon-gu resident or employee of a business located in the district who is interested in cooperation activities, willing to participate, or has work experience related to public-private cooperation can apply.
Residents wishing to apply can download the application form from the Geumcheon-gu website's Notices and Announcements board, complete it, and submit it by visiting the 7th floor of Geumcheon-gu Office's Community Autonomy Division or by email (jyh3010@geumcheon.go.kr).
After document screening, the selection results will be posted on the district website around May 12 and individual notifications will be sent.
Mayor Yuseonghun of Geumcheon-gu said, "Successful local autonomy is achieved on a solid foundation of public-private cooperation," and added, "We hope residents actively participate in recruiting new members for the Geumcheon-gu Cooperation Council to help Geumcheon take a step forward as an advanced local autonomy city."
