Jong-Geun Jeong Appointed as Director of Newspaper Distribution at Korea Press Foundation
The Korea Press Foundation announced on the 15th that Jeong Bong-geun, former senior advisor at the Korea Press Foundation, has been appointed as the head of the Newspaper Distribution Agency. Director Jeong graduated from Yonsei University with a degree in Journalism and Broadcasting and joined the Korea Press Research Institute, the predecessor of the Korea Press Foundation, in 1987. He has served as director of the Advertising Bureau, head of the Media Promotion Office, and director of the Media Research Center. This appointment was made through a public recruitment process, recommendation by the foundation's board of directors, and approval by the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The term of office is two years.
