NH Nonghyup Bank Becomes Dokdo Guardian, Promotes Dokdo Experience Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The Ministry of Education, the Northeast Asian History Foundation, and NH Nonghyup Bank announced on the 14th that they will promote 14 Dokdo Experience Centers nationwide under the theme "Meet Our Beautiful Treasure Island, Dokdo!"
Nonghyup Bank will place 560,000 promotional leaflets introducing the locations of the Dokdo Experience Centers and event activities at all 1,121 branches, and distribute these leaflets to customers visiting the bank, participating in the promotion as a bank protecting Dokdo.
The Ministry of Education stated that this event aims to help our citizens understand and experience Dokdo through visits to the Dokdo Experience Centers, thereby clarifying that Dokdo is Korean territory historically, geographically, and under international law. They also expressed their intention to continuously strengthen Dokdo education and promotion in cooperation with related organizations, private and social groups.
