‘2021 Curious About Youth Policies?’ provides an easy-to-understand guide to 80 youth policies from the government and Gwangju City, categorized by fields ranging from jobs, which are the biggest concern for young people, to housing support, education capacity enhancement, welfare, and culture.
In particular, it includes Gwangju City’s representative youth policy projects such as Youth Work Experience Dream, Youth Dream Allowance, Todak Todak Youth Job Cafe, and Youth 13 (Work+Life) Account support which helps economic independence through small short-term savings for a better life of working youth, as well as government support programs like the National Employment Support System’s Work Experience Program and Youth Tomorrow Filling Deduction.
Gwangju City plans to distribute the guidebook not only to youth-related institutions and organizations frequently used by young people such as the Job One-Stop Center, Todak Todak Youth Job Cafe, and University Job Center, but also to places frequently visited by citizens such as community service centers, and will also post it on the city’s website.
