Louis Vuitton Korea Surpasses 1 Trillion Won in Sales Last Year... Doubles in 9 Years

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Dae-yeol] The French luxury brand Louis Vuitton recorded sales exceeding 1 trillion won in South Korea last year. This represents an increase of more than 30% compared to the previous year.
According to the audit report released on the 12th by Louis Vuitton Korea Ltd., last year's sales amounted to 1.0467 trillion won, a 33% increase from the previous year. Operating profit nearly tripled to 151.9 billion won during the same period, and net profit nearly quadrupled to 70.3 billion won.
This is the first time Louis Vuitton Korea's performance has been disclosed since 2011. As a limited company, it was not previously required to submit audit reports. Due to amendments in the External Audit Act, limited companies are now obligated to submit audit reports starting this year, leading to the disclosure of performance data for well-known luxury brands.

Compared to 497.3 billion won in sales in 2011, Louis Vuitton Korea's sales have more than doubled in nine years. The French brand Herm?s recorded sales of 419 billion won and an operating profit of 133.3 billion won last year, marking an increase of about 16% from the previous year.
