Hanjin Celebrates 10th Anniversary of Overseas Shipping Agency 'Ihanex'... "Enhancing Convenience for Direct Buyers"
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] Hanjin announced on the 12th that its overseas shipping agency service 'Ehanex' has enhanced user convenience for overseas shipping customers in celebration of its 10th anniversary.
Ehanex was launched in April 2011 to strengthen Hanjin's global e-commerce business capabilities. Starting with the operation of the LA center in the United States, the service has expanded to Japan, Europe, and currently operates 9 centers in 6 countries (United States, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Germany, and the United Kingdom).
Over the past 10 years, Ehanex has received 1.32 million overseas shipping requests and delivered more than 5.5 million products. This achievement is attributed to continuously enhancing customer services such as the simplified shipping process and volume-minimizing ‘THE Fast Service’ and ‘Slim Service’, airline partnerships, and the launch of membership services. In March 2017, Ehanex also opened Ehanex Mall, an online shopping mall for overseas product purchasing agency.
Recently, as the home economy trend has expanded due to COVID-19, with people enjoying food at home instead of traveling abroad, the company opened ‘Online World Gourmet’, where customers can directly purchase popular food products from Hawaii and Japan. Going forward, they plan to continuously discover food recommended by locals in Europe and other regions.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary, Ehanex is launching events and new services.
Through an event offering benefits based on the number of shipping agency uses until August, Ehanex points and discount coupons will be provided, and gifts from Online World Gourmet will be given by lottery.
Starting from the 14th, new services such as the ‘Real Packing Service’, which sends videos of the packaging process of ordered products to some customers’ mobile phones, and the ‘Super Safe Packaging Service’, which reduces the risk of product damage, will be launched.
