HDC Hyundai Development Company Announces Major Organizational Restructuring... Establishes Future Innovation Headquarters
HDC Hyundai Development Company announced on the 12th that it has carried out a large-scale organizational restructuring, including the establishment of the Future Innovation Headquarters.
The Future Innovation Headquarters is composed of the Future Strategy Team, HR Innovation Team, and Digital Platform Team, and is responsible for actively responding to digital trends, discovering new businesses, developing new technologies, and nurturing future talent. In addition, HDC Hyundai Development Company recently established a Safety Management Office to strengthen safety and environmental management in response to changes in the corporate environment emphasizing ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).
Furthermore, HDC Hyundai Development Company reorganized its existing Development Headquarters and Order Headquarters into the Development Sales Headquarters to strengthen product development planning and function-specific sales. In particular, by establishing a project organization, rapid decision-making is achieved through active opinion sharing by those in charge during project execution, enhancing consistency and integration of work through the introduction of responsible management. A marketing division was also newly established within the headquarters to advance marketing and brand strategies.
The marketing division, composed of the Marketing Team and Product Planning Team, is responsible for planning new concept products and services, innovating online/offline customer experiences, and conducting integrated brand marketing.
The existing organization will also continue to pursue ongoing changes. The Construction Headquarters plans to promote the advancement of site management using digital technology through the newly established Construction Digital Team, seeking smart changes on site. The Management Headquarters will focus on improving management efficiency in key areas such as management analysis, finance, and accounting, which form the foundation of company operations, while further strengthening expertise.
This organizational restructuring also focused on appointing innovative talents aligned with HDC Hyundai Development Company’s mid- to long-term strategic direction under the principle of meritocracy based on expertise. In accordance with strict performance-based principles, talents who achieve outstanding results through challenges and possess expertise and execution capabilities were selected, and proactive and young talents with abilities were appointed to key positions based on performance.
In particular, HDC Hyundai Development Company, which has consistently nurtured female talents, appointed female leaders to one division and one team leader position in this personnel reshuffle. As a result, female leaders lead 7 out of 31 teams, accounting for about 23%, and there are currently 3 female executives working at HDC Hyundai Development Company.
