KOTRA Operates Online Integrated Korean Pavilion at 'Hannover Industrial Fair'
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] KOTRA announced on the 11th that it will operate the '2021 Hannover Messe Online Integrated Korea Pavilion' for five days starting from the 12th to support the entry of our small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies into the global value chain (GVC).
The integrated Korea Pavilion will host a total of 59 companies, including 53 companies jointly supported by four organizations: Korea Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association, Korea Robot Industry Association, Korea Electronics and Telecommunications Industry Promotion Association, and Korea Industrial Intelligence Association, as well as 6 companies supported by the Daejeon Economic and Trade Promotion Agency.
The Hannover Messe in Germany is the world's largest exhibition for machinery, processing, and energy industries. This year, 1,780 companies from 49 countries, including global leading companies such as Siemens and KUKA, will participate to showcase the latest industrial trends. Due to COVID-19, this year's Hannover Messe will be held online for the first time since the exhibition began in 1947.
Participating companies can leverage the advantages of the online format to strengthen networking with buyers without restrictions of time and space. For example, companies can upload product videos and photos to their online booths for promotion, and visitors can conduct one-on-one video consultations with companies of interest.
