This appointment allows him to discuss local key projects with central government ministries, drawing attention to his future activities.
The Presidential Committee on Balanced National Development is a presidential advisory body that promotes tasks such as selecting autonomous decentralization and balanced development projects to achieve one of the government's major national policy goals: "evenly developing regions."
The committee aims to eliminate regional disparities and contribute to balanced national development and the equal improvement of citizens' lives through autonomous development tailored to regional characteristics.
Going forward, Councilor Park In-cheol will play a role in ensuring that the current government's national agenda on regional balanced development is implemented as intended.
Additionally, he will serve as an advisor to the President on major policies for the efficient promotion of balanced development and the equal improvement of citizens' lives through autonomous development suited to regional characteristics. His term lasts until April 6 of next year.
