[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the afternoon of the 8th at 2 PM, Chaehyunil, the mayor of Yeongdeungpo District, along with related staff, removed the barricades installed on the Yeouiseo-ro spring flower road, announcing the lifting of traffic restrictions.
The district had fully restricted vehicle access and installed barricades along a 1.7 km section of Yeouiseo-ro behind the National Assembly starting from the 31st of last month to minimize the spread of COVID-19.
Mayor Chaehyunil sincerely thanked many people who actively cooperated with the 'Spring Flower Social Distancing' measures, including vehicle restrictions and limited viewing of the spring flower road, to prevent community infections. He also stated that they will do their best in quarantine and overcoming COVID-19 so that next spring, people can enjoy the spring flowers in peaceful daily life.
