On the 8th, Syria's state media SANA cited military sources reporting this. The media stated, "Before the missiles reached their targets, the Syrian air defense system shot down most of the missiles."
According to the report, the missile attacks were mainly carried out from Lebanon and the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
Some property damage was also reported due to the missile attacks on that day.
The UK-based nonprofit organization Syrian Observatory for Human Rights stated that Israel's airstrike targeted military facilities located near Damascus.
