"T map on Vehicle Screens" T map Mobility Launches Android Auto
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] It is now possible to freely use the navigation T map (Tmap) service on screens installed in vehicles.
Tmap Mobility announced on the 8th that it has officially launched the commercial version of Tmap Android Auto.
Google's Android Auto is a service that connects the screen installed in a vehicle to an Android smartphone, allowing users to utilize various functions. Most newly released vehicles recently come equipped with Android Auto. Until now, the Tmap Android Auto service was only available to subscribers participating in the beta test. Previously, Tmap Mobility completed testing with beta service users over the past five months to launch the commercial version of Android Auto.
Through big data analysis, Tmap Mobility applied the most frequently used features by users, including ▲Recent Destinations ▲Favorites ▲Nearby Search ▲Safe Driving ▲Route Guidance and Route Option Changes ▲Aerial Maps. Accordingly, 18.5 million Tmap subscribers can now freely use the Android Auto function in vehicles that support it without separately applying to participate in the beta test.
The service can be used by updating to the latest version of Tmap on the Google Play Store, and depending on the vehicle model, route guidance is also available via wireless connection and head-up display (HUD).
