[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] On the 7th, Kim Seon-gap, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, held a meeting with health center workers who are tirelessly working to protect the health of the residents in commemoration of the 49th Health Day.
This meeting was organized to commend and encourage the employees who have been working hard for a long time due to COVID-19.
On this day, five personnel responsible for COVID-19 response from each department attended, including those working in the field investigation team, designated and managing safe restaurants, managing COVID-19 infectious diseases, supporting screening clinics, and overseeing quarantine facility coordination.
Mayor Kim Seon-gap listened to the on-site situations in each field and took time to hear about the difficulties faced.
Mayor Kim said, “On the occasion of Health Day, I send thanks and applause to the healthcare workers who are dedicating themselves on the front lines of COVID-19,” and added, “Until the day COVID-19 ends, I hope that the residents, healthcare workers, and the district office will pull the string of quarantine tightly together with one heart to restore healthy smiles and precious daily lives.”
