Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station Launches 'Traffic Safety Campaign' for Children's Protection Zones on School Commute Routes
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station (Chief Kim Gwangnam) announced on the 7th that it conducted a 'Traffic Safety Campaign' in school zone areas during the morning commute.
The campaign was jointly carried out at Eoryong Elementary School with traffic police officers, school violence task force officers, Usan Police Substation, teachers, the Green Mothers' Association, and the Model Drivers' Association.
They provided safety guidance for children’s walking routes, including securing safe school routes and using crosswalks, to prevent traffic accidents that have recently occurred frequently in school zones.
