On the 6th, an online community called 'Bobae Dream' posted an article titled 'Thief Babysitter.'
The post was written by a netizen named A, who said, "I hired a live-in babysitter for 4 million won per month when my baby was 30 days old," and added, "From the first day she arrived, for about 10 days, even when the baby cried loudly, she only looked at her phone and did not take care of the baby, instead rummaging through various parts of the house searching and gathering our belongings."
She continued, "We found out the babysitter was stealing when my mother-in-law opened the pump box by the door to check a delivery and found a bundle," and "From then on, we started recording videos."
According to A, the items stolen by the babysitter from her home ranged from 500-won coins to luxury wallets, clothing, electronics, pots, blankets, and toys.

However, despite being caught stealing, the babysitter reportedly acted nonchalantly. At the scene of the theft, she put her legs up on a dining chair without saying a word, and even after the police investigation, she sent a message demanding payment for the hours she worked.
According to the text messages posted by A, the babysitter said, "I will accept the punishment for my wrongdoing," but suddenly demanded, "Shouldn't you calculate my daily wage? From the 16th of last month to the 2nd."
A said, "Her care for the baby was terrible, and I was about to tell her to quit, but this happened. I don’t know if she will be properly punished," and expressed concern, "I feel a great sense of guilt for leaving my child with a thief, and I worry that this babysitter might go to work elsewhere."
