Korea Citibank Sponsors Youth Financial Education 'Think Money' Program for 16 Years
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] Korea Citibank announced on the 7th that it held a signing ceremony for the 'Learn and Experience Think Money Financial Class' with the Korea YWCA Federation and delivered a donation of approximately 270 million KRW (USD 250,000) sponsored by the Citi Foundation.
Think Money is a financial education program that Korea Citibank has been conducting in cooperation with the Korea YWCA Federation since 2006, aimed at helping youth cultivate proper financial values and grow into healthy economic citizens who engage in independent and wise economic activities.

Now in its 16th year, the Think Money program has provided financial education to over 560,000 people over the past 15 years. Since 2017, it has operated 'Puppin' (Public Financial education station), a permanent financial life experience center where students can actively participate and understand finance on their own. Additionally, online experiential education is being conducted alongside in response to the COVID-19 situation.
