Following the campaign held on the 25th of last month, this continuous campaign was carried out to remind people of the importance of traffic safety and to create an atmosphere encouraging active participation in the safety culture movement. About 20 people gathered, including Jeonnam Yeongam Office of Education, Yeongam Police Station, Daebul Elementary School, Daebul Green Mothers' Association, and Yeongam Model Drivers Association members, to actively promote the campaign.
Participants handed out candy of love to students going to school around the elementary school's front and back gates near the child protection zone and guided them on crosswalk safety rules such as "Seogoyo" (Stop, Look, Cross).
Additionally, drivers around the school were encouraged to comply with traffic laws regarding vehicles passing through child protection zones and to observe the "Safe Speed 5030" policy, which lowers the urban speed limit to within 50 km/h on general roads and within 30 km/h on residential and side streets.
Furthermore, promotional items related to safety, such as masks, were distributed to encourage voluntary participation of residents in COVID-19 prevention measures.
