Korea Investment & Securities Launches 'MyData' Collaboration
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] Korea Investment & Securities, a subsidiary of Korea Financial Group, signed a business agreement on the 6th with big data specialist company 'NICE Genie Data' for the MyData business. NICE Genie Data is one of the major affiliates of NICE Group, which possesses the largest financial infrastructure in Korea.
Both companies agreed to strengthen mutual cooperation across the entire MyData business, including strategic data exchange, integration of heterogeneous data, and product and service planning through big data analysis. Korea Investment & Securities plans to introduce more sophisticated and diverse financial services by analyzing investors' consumption patterns and providing customized asset management consulting based on this analysis.

Choi Seoryong, Head of the Digital Platform Division, stated, "We expect that active data exchange and big data analysis between the two companies will enable the provision of more advanced financial services that connect consumption and investment." He added, "We aim to enter the personal credit information management business (MyData) within this year, enhancing our data analysis and utilization capabilities, and providing differentiated financial platform services based on data."
