Hanwha Investment & Securities 'Delta Lab' Cumulative Sales Surpass 200 Billion KRW... Doubled in 3 Months
Set as Series Based on Offering Time Stock Price and Inclusion Ratio Even with Same Managed Assets
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Hanwha Investment & Securities' wrap account product, which adjusts the proportion of managed assets based on financial engineering models, has surpassed a cumulative sales amount of 200 billion KRW.
Hanwha Investment & Securities announced on the 6th that its 'Delta Wrap' product exceeded cumulative sales of 200 billion KRW as of the end of last year. After selling 100 billion KRW last year, the cumulative sales doubled in just three months.
Hanwha Delta Wrap is a wrap account service that adjusts the allocation ratio of managed assets such as stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) based on financial engineering models. The portfolio manager, who holds a Ph.D. in mathematics from Seoul National University and has managed equity-linked securities (ELS) for 10 years, operates the wrap account using an ELS hedge strategy.
As a target conversion-type wrap, when the customer reaches the target rate of return set at the time of contract, the assets are converted into cash equivalents. Depending on the managed assets, the product is categorized and operated as 'Delta Wrap KODEX Leverage,' 'Delta Wrap Samsung Electronics,' 'Delta Wrap Hyundai Motor,' etc. Even for the same managed assets, it is characterized by setting series according to the stock price and allocation ratio at the time of recruitment.
Hanwha Investment & Securities explained, "Since the volatility of the stock market has increased after COVID-19, customers have achieved target returns early, resulting in high satisfaction and an increase in re-subscriptions. Customers can also cancel at their desired time even before reaching the target return, which has led to an increase in new subscriptions."
As demand increases, the product has expanded from existing stocks such as Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix, and Hyundai Motor to various industries including Kakao, NAVER, LG Electronics, Samsung Biologics, and KT. The minimum subscription amount ranges from 10 million to 50 million KRW. Detailed information can be obtained through the Hanwha Investment & Securities website or branches.
