Seoul Institute, Public Call for Seoul 'Small Research' Projects Created Directly by Citizens
Call for Applications for This Year's 'Small Research' Support Project Starting from the 5th
Open to Citizens or Organizations Interested in Seoul City Administration and Citizens' Life Topics
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Seoul Institute announced on the 6th that it will hold a public contest for the 2021 'Small Research' support project starting from the 5th. Small Research is a representative citizen participation research project of the Seoul Institute, where citizens directly discover various topics related to Seoul city administration and daily life, conduct research in real-life settings, and propose policies.
Any citizen or organization interested in Seoul city administration can participate in the contest. The application period is from the 5th until 6 p.m. on the 20th, and applications can be submitted through the Seoul Institute website.
The public contest for the Small Research support project is divided into planned topic research projects and free topic research projects. For planned topic research, applicants can choose one of the detailed items under the Seoul Institute's proposed theme "New Vision for Seoul in the New Normal Era": stabilizing citizens' lives, overcoming the climate crisis, or promoting new growth strategies. Free topic research projects can be supported by selecting from the fields of society, welfare, economy, urban planning, environment, or information.
