Zero COVID-19 Cases in Gwangju Region After 150 Days
No Confirmed Cases for One Day on November 7, Last Year, After Two Cases Occurred

According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 5th, no new COVID-19 cases were reported throughout the previous day. This marks exactly 150 days since two cases were reported on July 7 last year.
From the 23rd of last month, over the past two weeks, the number of cases in Gwangju showed a trend of 2→5→3→5→2→2→1→2→3→1→3→4, indicating that the situation has entered a calming phase.
Since the first confirmed case of an overseas entrant in Gwangju on February 3 last year, followed by secondary infections two days later, a total of 2,220 people have been confirmed positive.
2,174 patients have recovered and been discharged, while 25 are currently receiving isolation treatment. The death toll stands at 21.
A total of 845,791 tests have been conducted, and currently 579 people are awaiting test results.
