[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) announced that the Geumcheon-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center will operate the spring family program "Seoul Family School Family Chef" on the 17th.
"Family Chef" is a program where participating families cooperate to cook together and enhance communication among family members through cooking.
The program will be held on April 17th in two sessions: the first session (10 AM to 12 PM) "Family Activities Together," and the second session (12 PM to 2 PM) "Making Seasonal Spring Foods."
"Making Seasonal Spring Foods" will be conducted by delivering kits to each household to make "Spinach Tortilla Pizza," "Soybean Sprout Rice with Wild Chives Soy Sauce," and "Strawberry Latte," with family members participating together via the video conferencing program ZOOM.
The program is open to families of two or more members residing in Geumcheon-gu, and 12 families will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until April 11th.
Families wishing to participate can apply online through the Geumcheon-gu Healthy Family and Multicultural Family Support Center website.
Mayor Yu Seong-hoon said, "I hope that Geumcheon families, who have had fewer opportunities to communicate due to COVID-19, will enjoy a warm spring by making seasonal spring foods together and spending joyful times of harmony."
